Internet sites use Clean Tickets to purchase or access free content -- whole editions or single stories, foreign-language text, spoken language, pictures, videos, blogs, links.

THE START PAGE

Content is presented with scrollling rectangles on the START PAGE, or with a single rectangle on any partcipating web site. Look for the 2-digit BADGE NUMBERS that identify an item of content, and the Clean trademark that identifies the Clean Ticket Company. Clock the badge to download content. It appears in a new browser window and is saved in the TICKET REPORT, which is available from Ticket Window #9. The little number below the badge number shows the day it first went online as an ordinal count of the days in the year.

At the top of the Start Page is the publication name (any kind of periodical content) of the BUREAU. The bar controls the presentation. On the left, click the flag for your choice of Spansh or English. On the right, the question mark shows this text.

Next to that is a Clean logo button, which selects a different bureau. The green and red arrow jump forwards or bakwards; select "fast" or "slow" for this to be done automatically. Near the flag is the 3-letter name of the current bureau. You can usually click this for a drop-down selection of other bureaus associated with this one.

Beside this is a green or clear little button that causes the (fast or slow) rotation to jump to the next bureau in this group, or stay with this one.

The upper right corner of a Start Page shows Ticket Window #1, where you get a new ticket or add money to one, or Ticket Window #9, where you sign in your ticket or view the Ticket Report. The little logout and balance buttons are here too.

Beneath these are three boxes that show advertising or short editorial content. A variety of them (the "Uprights") fade in and out.

CLEAN TICKETS

Paid tickets, printed (from the Ticket Report) read $8, but this is just a suggestion. When you buy a new ticket you can enter any amount (less than $50), or nothing. When you buy content without a sufficient cash balance we extend credit to you (up to a limit). The credit can be paid off when you have a cash balance. The abbreviation "P.T.O.", stands for "paid ticket only" and purchasing such a badge requires a cash balance. Ticket window #9's balance button shows a cash or credit balance (a positive or negative number).

Signing in a badge is made easier because there are little pictures that appear as you enter your ticket code, which helps you remember them. A code is seven characters long, but you only need to enter the last four if you sign in at the bureau where you brought it. Carefully observe each key as you press it. Don't forget to check the "caps lock" and "num lock" keys. The BUREAU PREFIX, three characters long, is at the start of every ticket it issues; select the icon to enter them. Write down your ticket code immediately. If you lose and forget your ticket code, after 24 months of non-use, any funds on it are forfeit, and the ticket is extinguished.

You pay for your ticket with a credit card. Nevertheless, ticket holders remain anonymous since the code is not assigned until after the credit card is processed. On the other hand, the Ticket Report has a "profile" section where you can reord personal information if you wish.

There can only be one active ticket at a time, but the same ticket can be used by more than one person at a time. You assume responsibility for keeping your code private or trusting others with it.

Aquired content items have a line in the Ticket Report. Click the right side of the line to see your content again. Or click the left side to select the line. Selected lines can be exported to a text file, or erased. There are only 80 lines in a ticket report; lines at the bottom of the list are erased when new ones are added. So download content you want to save aand erase the rest.

The "Showcase" type of Ticket Window contains multiple content itmes. They can be individually purchased, or click the large price tag to acquire them all.

Content items can receive your comments and gratuities. This gives you the ability to make a cash-equivalent contribution to the creator of content you appreciate. However, your ticket must have a cash balance. 100% of the amount goes to the person(s) to whom it is intended.

CLEAN TICKET Wi-Fi

Where reception is available, your ticket can access the Fabulous Fiber Wi-Fi signal. The cost is one penny per minute for the first five hours of use, or $3 per day maximum. The monthly maximum rate of $30 applies to a ticket used on 10 days in a calendar month.

LA PÁGINA PRINCIPAL

El contenido se presenta con rectángulos de desplazamiento en la PÁGINA PRINCIPAL, o con un solo rectángulo en cualquier sitio web que participe. Busca los NÚMEROS DE DIVISA de 2 dígitos de cada contenido y haz clic en él para descargarlo. El resultado de tu selección aparece en una nueva ventana del navegador y se guarda en LA INFORMACIÓN DE BOLETOS, que está disponible en las ventanillas de boletos nº 9. El pequeño número que aparece debajo del número de divisa muestra el día en que se conectó por primera vez, un recuento ordinal de los días del año.

En la parte superior de la página principal se encuentra el nombre de la publicación o el nombre de la oficina de negocio. Hay una fila de controles cerca de la parte superior. A la izquierda, haz clic en la bandera para elegir entre español o inglés. A la derecha, el signo de interrogación muestra este texto.

Al lado hay un botón con el logotipo de Clean, que lleva a nuestra página principal. Las flechas verdes y rojas saltan hacia delante o hacia atrás; seleccione "rápido" o "lento" para que esto se haga de manera automática.

Cerca de la bandera está el nombre de tres letras de la oficina de negocio actual. Por lo general, puede hacer clic en esta opción para obtener una selección desplegable de otras oficinas de negocio asociadas a ésta.

Al lado hay un pequeño botón verde o transparente que hace que la rotación (rápida o lenta) salte a la siguiente oficina de negocio de este grupo, o se mantenga dentro de este grupo.

La esquina superior derecha de la página de inicio muestra la ventanilla de boleto nº 1, donde se obtiene un nuevo boleto o se añade dinero a uno, o la ventanilla de boleto nº 9, donde se registra el boleto o se ve LA INFORMACIÓN DE BOLETOS. Los botones de cierre de sesión y de balance también están aquí. La información de boletos muestra tus selecciones anteriores. Haz clic en la parte derecha de una línea para volver a descargar un elemento.

En la parte derecha de la página principal hay tres recuadros que muestran publicidad o contenidos editoriales breves, las "POSICIONES VERTICALES". Su contenido cambia, y lo hace a un ritmo de unos siete segundos.

BOLETOS DE PERIÓDICO

Los boletos pagados, impresos (a partir de la información de boletos) indican 8 dólares, pero esto es sólo una sugerencia. Cuando compras un nuevo boleto puedes introducir cualquier cantidad (menos de 50 dólares) o nada. Cuando compras contenidos sin un saldo en efectivo suficiente, te concedemos un crédito (hasta un límite). El crédito se puede pagar cuando se tiene un saldo en efectivo. La abreviatura "P.T.O.", significa "boleto pagado solamente" (paid ticket only) y la compra de dicho divisa requiere un saldo en efectivo. El botón de saldo de la ventanilla de boleto nº 9 muestra un saldo en efectivo o crédito (un número positivo o negativo).

El registro de una divisa es más fácil porque hay pequeñas imágenes que aparecen a medida que se introduce el código del boleto, lo que ayuda a recordarlo. El código tiene siete caracteres, pero sólo tiene que introducir los cuatro últimos si se registra en la oficina de negocio donde lo trajo.

Observe con atención cada tecla al pulsarla. Recuerda comprobar las teclas "bloqueo de mayúsculas" y "bloqueo de números". El PREFIJO DE LA OFICINA DE NEGOCIO, de tres caracteres, se encuentra al principio de cada boleto que emite; pueden introducirse de una vez al hacer clic en el icono de la oficina de negocio.

Tu boleto funciona en cualquier sitio de Clean Ticket, sólo se requiere un inicio de sesión. Escribe de inmediato el código de tu nuevo boleto. Si lo pierdes y lo olvidas, después de 24 meses de no utilizarlo se pierden los fondos que haya en él, y el billete se extingue.

Pagas tu boleto con una tarjeta de crédito. Sin embargo, los poseedores de los boletos permanecen en el anonimato, ya que el código no se asigna hasta después de procesar la tarjeta de crédito. Por otro lado, la información de boletos tiene una sección de "perfil" en la que puede volver a registrar información personal si lo desea.

Sólo puede haber un boleto activo a la vez, pero el mismo boleto puede ser utilizado por más de una persona a la vez. Es responsable de la confidencialidad del código o de confiarlo a otras personas.

Cada elemento del contenido adquirido tiene una línea en la información de boletos. Haz clic en la parte derecha de la línea para volver a ver tu contenido.

. O haz clic en el lado izquierdo para seleccionar la línea. Las líneas seleccionadas pueden exportarse a un archivo de texto o borrarse. Sólo hay 80 líneas en la información de boletos; las líneas de la parte inferior de la lista se borran cuando se añaden otras nuevas. Así que haz una copia del contenido que quieras guardar, y borra el resto.

Está protegido contra la compra accidental de algunos contenidos por duplicado si su compra original está todavía en la información de boletos.

La ventanilla de boleto de tipo "exhibición" contiene varios elementos de contenido. Se pueden comprar individualmente, o bien hacer clic en la etiqueta de precio grande para adquirirlos todos. Las ventanillas de boletos que ofrecen ediciones de una publicación son de tipo exhibición.

Historias y podcasts Los artículos de contenido pueden recibir sus gratificaciones. Esto te permite hacer una contribución equivalente en efectivo al creador de contenidos que tanto aprecias. El 100% del importe se destina a la(s) persona(s) a la(s) que va(n) destinada(s). Sin embargo, su billete debe tener un saldo en efectivo.

BOLETOS CLEAN Wi-Fi

En los lugares en los que hay recepción, su boleto puede acceder a la señal Wi-Fi de Fabulous Fiber. El coste es de un céntimo por minuto durante las primeras cinco horas de uso, o 3 dólares al día como máximo. La cuantía máxima mensual de 30 dólares se aplica a un boleto utilizado en 10 días de un mes natural.
